To Dye For

Skirt Construction

Right sides together, pin the skirt front sections together. Stitch using 5/8" seam allowances. Press open the seams. Repeat to stitch the skirt back sections together.

Follow the pattern directions to stitch the skirt front and back together and insert the zipper.

Pin the grosgrain ribbon around the skirt 5/8" from waistline edge. Edgestitch the ribbon to the skirt along the ribbon upper edge.

Turn the ribbon to the skirt inside; press. Hand stitch the ribbon lower edge to the skirt to secure.
