Arm yourself with sleeve knowledge and you can make a difference in your appearance. Every element of clothing can affect your image--even something as minor as a sleeve.

Minimize attention to thin arms or conceal heavy arms by avoiding sheer stretchy or clingy fabrics. Longer sleeves, or cuffed short sleeves are best for exceptionally thin arns, while loose sleeves, in at least three-quarter length, are best for heavy arms.

If your arms aren't a problem but your hips are, select sleeve styles such as petal, bell or dolman to add volume to the upper body. Use shoulder pads, too, to add to the illusion.
